I am the founder and operator of a fun, unique, growing company in the tourism industry, specializing in unforgettable Brooklyn tour experiences, and I am looking for a qualified individual to join my team and help to take my company to the next level!
More specifically, I am looking for someone who is extremely proficient on computers and fantastic with SEO and marketing of all varieties.
I am looking for people who will contribute their talents and creativity along with an obsession for detail, a passion for following through, a strong desire to be challenged, and ideally an excellent sense of humor. Candidates must also exhibit professionalism and be able to handle time constraints and consistently hit tough deadlines. Willingness to learn is a must, as training will be provided by experts in the relevant fields.
Duties include:
- Increasing traffic & purchases through our company website via link-building campaigns, outreach to relevant third party sites, and implementing other proven SEO techniques (primary)
- Assisting with other marketing initiatives, like the creation of opt-in marketing emails and leveraging social media websites (secondary, and potentially phased in over time)
Experience and Qualifications include:
- Some prior experience with SEO, link-building and online marketing campaigns are a big plus, but not required.
- Ability to develop reports that will be used on an ongoing basis to monitor campaigns, to understand details, etc., and to be willing to learn and take on new trends.
- Strong technical skills and internet proficiency.
- Familiarity with social media and other social networking trends is also a plus.
The internship will likely involve working 10-20 hours per week, to start as soon as possible and with no definitive end date. Much of the work will be done remotely, with occasional in-person meetings, so you must have your own space where you could do focused work.
